After meeting Kirby and Ash for the first time over cuppas at our little place in Safety Beach, we could imagine NOT being a part of their beautiful wedding day at Commonfolk Cafe in Mornington. The plans they had were exactly what I would hope for with all of our couples in the way that – there were no rules in terms of “set tradition”. They basically wiped the table of all they once thought they “had” to do on their wedding day and then re-introduced or simply replaced the things they simply didn’t connect with.
This venue didn’t allow for confetti or petals, which is sometimes fair enough – clean-up can be a bugger or near impossible! So we suggested colourful streamers as an exit option which was insanely rad!! Make sure you scroll down to post-ceremony to check out the aftermath – and super easy to scoop up and tidy afterwards.
We’re so exciting for more weddings at Commonfolk in the future – it’s awesome to see so many couples steering away from traditional “venues” and customizing their day to their budget and their style!
