There was not a dry eye in the gardens as Hollie and Andy were married. I have to admit even our lens were fogging up! What we adored about these beautiful humans was the fact that they wore their hearts on their sleeve throughout the day. It was an absolute honour to be allowed in to their clearly intimate space. The Highlander-themed ceremony at this Abbotsford Convent Wedding was styled by the incredible Botanics of Melbourne – these legends brought to life all the elements that Hollie and Andy felt encompassed their coming together.
Breaking traditional wedding “rules” is always something I encourage and so I loved the fact that these two chose to chomp down on a couple of doughnuts instead of cutting a cake. If you’re not creating a wedding day that represents “you”, where’s the fun in that?!
