Zoe and Cody chose to get married in the heart of Winter at our fave Barn Wedding Venue on the Mornington Peninsula – Barn & Co. – but they actually ended up with the most beautifully warm and sunny day – thanks Melbourne! One tip we give our couples is you can never ever predict the weather so always be prepared in the week or 2 leading up to your wedding with a Plan B and umbrellas for rain.
So in this case we were surprised with the most amazing blue skies! Both wanting to feel calm leading up to the ceremony, Cody and Zoe got ready at the same accommodation and met eachother out in the gardens once they were dressed to have a few special moments to themselves before we gathered all their mates together and took a little road trip to Boneo to visit their fur babies (horses!). Having photos pre-ceremony is especially helpful in Winter when the light drops super early and you can simply head straight into your reception, however in the warmer months when the sun sets later in the day, photo time with us after your ceremony is definitely going to get you the best out of the light.
