In Brittany and Leigh’s very first email to us they laid out their plans for their wedding at Tanglewood in very simple terms.. “We just want a big party – good food, drinks, music and dancing! Want the dance floor full and the drinks flowing!” – and DANCE they did!! They two legends rocked out to The Contours “Do You Love Me” for their first dance. Lily, the other love of their lives (their labrador) was also a MUST for their big day – funny story behind the actual “family photo” I caught of the 3 of them.. Lily had just returned from an adventure of her own, in the nearby dam! I actually LOVE animals at wedding days – the more the merrier! Shani and I are both vegan and took on the deceptively strenuous task of fostering lambs last Winter – the naughtiest “puppies” you ever did meet but definitely the most adorable. Long story short – all animals at weddings gets brownie points from us!
A little note about this venue.. Tanglewood would have to be right up on top for us when it comes to choosing a unique space on the Peninsula – the grounds are quite literally tangled woods and has a knack of being engulfed with this incredible light around golden hour.
