Having your wedding on a private property gives you the amazing freedom to put your stamp on the day without any pre-determined style and Red Hill is one of the most beautiful wedding locations on the Peninsula. Georgie + Guy were set on creating almost everything themselves from the guest seating down to the hand-made glasses and the abundance of collected tableware. To bring their 1920’s style jazz wedding to life they also enlisted the help of the legendary Melbourne wedding planners from Pop-up with Style who we cannot recommend enough if you’re considering a private property wedding on the Peninsula or anywhere for that matter!
We started the morning down on the beach with the boys for a refreshing dip off Dromana Pier (because it was a bloody hot day so you know.. priorities) and then made our way to the private property they had selected up in beautiful Red Hill where old records were singing Louis Armstrong and parasols were shading guests from the hot rays of the sun.
The evening ended on an epic note (literally) with Georgie + Guy’s surprise duet to Summertime by Ella Fitzgerald.
